My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Aix en Provence today. Benjamin was really informative and friendly, you can tell he loves this town ! We actually live here but Benjamin taught us a lot and we discovered new places too. We would totally recommend ! We'll come back with friends and family when they visit. Thanks a million Benjamin.
A truly unique city tour, which I highly recommend: with his love for his city and knowledge of history with funny anecdotes and some personal historical information of his family’s relationship to the city, Benjamin knows how to inspire. I visited the city for the first time and after the tour I was totally fascinated by Aix-en-Provence. Benjamin is a very open minded, polyglot and committed tour-guide. The time of the city tour in the early afternoon was also ideal, as I had time afterwards to return to my favourite places of the city tour and visit exhibitions.
I really enjoyed my walk around Aix with Benjamin. I have been here many times, but he brought the place alive with his knowledge of the history of this fascinating city of beauty. Very engaging, informative, relaxed and fun.
Ben had a great knowledge of the history of Aix. He was very engaging, and made the 2 hours just fly by! He even provided some great restaurant recommendations at the end of the tour. I would definitely recommend doing a walking tour with Ben if you’re in town.
One of the best experiences of my life, more than recommended visits with Benjamin are a trip through space and time. Fun and enriching.
Excellent guide! Native English and French speaker, knows Aix very well - his family have lived in Aix for several generations.
Fantastic 2 hours Ben was well informed, his communication style was inclusive, relaxed and fun. I learned a lot about the history of Aix. Would definitely recommend this especially if you have just arrived in Aix
Benjamin gave us, first time aix-en-provence visitors, a great foundation for the place. From bringing us to the hat shop owned by Paul Cézanne's father to the beautiful Aix Cathedral, it was truly an amazing experience. It's quite the city and I recommend trying out this program wholeheartedly.
We had a great time with Benjamin. It was a personal tour because we were alone with him and we learned so much about Aix. There was also many personal stories of his own experiences through his family ties with the city that brought the history to life and hit close to home. The walk was enjoyable and we benefited from his attention to detail while keeping things fresh and breezy. Highly recommended
Really great experience. Benjamin’s passion for the city, it’s history, food and culture resonated throughout the tour and was underpinned by interesting personal anecdotes. The other people on the tour were lovely and made the experience extra special. Thanks Benjamin.
We enjoyed our tour with Benjamin very much. He's intelligent, knowledgeable and funny. He was able to answer every question we had about the city. Highly recommend.
Truly the best tour during our month long stay in Provence. Our charming guide wove historical facts with interesting observations and his multi generational family history in Aix into a fascinating tour of this incredibly beautiful city. Worth every penny and more!
Benjamin was great. Don't let his English accent fool you, he really belongs to the city. Should definitely try walking tour to know various off beat places, food and stories of the city... Can't believe we traveled 7000 years in 3 hours. :)
Benjamin was amazing!! This is a must experience tour. All in English. He makes it personal to him and gets you sharing your own story to connect to the history. He’ll have you laughing in one moment and moved the next. The city is stunning on its own, but he will make you fall in love with this city.
